Apparently, I am one of a handful of women at my job that celebrate this holiday. Granted, society paints men as deserters and all that jazz but I'm here to tell you that this is not always true. My father raised my brother and me from the time I was 5 (my brother was 12) and he did a great job. And while my mother wasn't always there that doesn't mean she wasn't a good mother. She did her best for us and so even though Mother's day has passed, I celebrated it as always. My point is that just because some moms or dads may suck doesn't mean this day can't be a joyful one. So to all the wonderful dads out there: HAPPY FATHER'S DAY!
Oh and since I didn't post in may...Happy Mother's Day (very belated).
If it weren't for BOTH parents, your ass wouldn't be here.

Thank you for the Father's Day message. This father thanks you very much. And your parents do sound wonderful. If you can honor them with such praise, they must be.
